Goji Berry & Chrysanthemum Tea
This is a great tea for the summer. Chrysanthemum flowers have heat-clearing properties, so even if you drink a hot cup of this tea, it will cool you down. The Chinese customarily drink this tea with sugar. Goji berries (these look like bright red raisins) have recently become popular because of their amazing health benefits, and can be eaten as raisins or tossed into hot cereal or tea. Goji berries are good for the kidneys, the lungs, the liver, and also for the yin of the body. I usually brew a pot of chrysanthemum tea and then throw a small handful of goji berries into it; they absorb the water and plump up as they float in the tea. This combination is great for vision problems. You can find these ingredients at health food stores and tea shops. I can also order goji berries if you want them.

I started drinking goji berries and chrysanthemum tea to cure my dry eye and it worked. But to my absolute amazement it did so much more. The tea actually improved my vision and I have the proof in my medical records with my doctor.
I originally had to stop wearing my contacts because my eyes were too dry which resulted in difficulty in my hobbies like salsa dancing (because my eyeglasses would fly off when I tried to do multiple spins). LOL My eye doctor said it was an autoimmune dysfunction and wanted to give me eye drops to supress my immune system. That sounded like a bad idea to me so I wore glasses for a while then started searching for natural options when my glasses started to interfere with my hobbies.
My local herb shop mentioned that tea tea would alleviate my dry eye and that there are records of it improving folks vision. I honestly did not believe that it could improve my vision but after taking the team for less than 6 months I decided to go buy new contacts but needed a new prescription. Well to my surprise my vision had improved in both eyes by an entire point (measured in quarters) which was significant. The doctor could not believe this had happened. I asked if this was normal and they said that it was not normal. They told me folks vision gets worse but not better.
I would highly recommend this tea if you want to cure your dry eye condition or just want to improve your vision. It seems like such a delicate tea with almost no flavor but it is truly amazingly powerful!

Raquel- thank you so much for sharing this comment. That is amazing- and kudos to you for persevering in the face of adversity! I’m so happy to hear that the tea has helped. I actually really just love the taste of it- I eat goji berries in my breakfast cereals and drink chrysanthemum tea to cool off in summer. Keep up the great work and thanks for the inspiration, Theresa
